flash to pass with HIDs?
flash to pass with HIDs?
is it bad for the HIDs to use them with the flash to pass? i got the saleens, and dont want to screw them up. to me it seems it would be bad for them, since they are just going on real quick and not having time to heat up. soo?? btw, do the saleen s281s have flash to pass feature?
I thought that the Saleen low to high setting is a mechanical shutter that moves in the housing to change the focus and hence the beam pattern. The bulbs never turn off switching from low to high. Only a conventional bulb switches filaments.
you are right. lets say i have my headlights off. i click flash to pass, the HIDs turn on, and the reflector moves to make them shoot the highbeam. i let go, they turn off and reflector moves back, i want to have the fogs turn on instead, when i use flash to pass. so this prob is not possible?
i would prefer to have my HID's for flash to pass not my fogs, most new cars agree when equiped with HID's. You will have no problems, the Saleen HID's are designed to correctly replace the OEM headlights, so if the stock ones can handle it, so can the Saleen HID's
LOVES IT! i always put hids in my cars, its the first mod i ever do. once u have them you cant live without em! on my yukon i got HID high and low beams, and i can have all 4 come on at once, u should see how that **** lights up the road!!! but the saleens are real good, and the highbeams go hella far and have great pattern. and the headlights look cooler than everyone elses.
