I think the car would look good with the blacked out rocker panel molding llike that on the V6 car. Along this line, it would make the location of the side stripe look better.

 

hey man what are the measurements of the stripes (width of center stripe and width of second stripes and gap)

I agree the rocker stripes look too high in the photos, so I went out and did some looking around at the car. The rockers curve inward at the very bottom of stripe toward the rear (behind the door), so I can't see how they would stripe it different without the stripes being curved inward. Interesting comments, and I'll do some looking around for a deal on getting the spoiler painted flat black. Anyone know where you can get some Magnum 500's that fit the 05 for a reasonable price? Thanks for the comments.

BTW--the stripes are 3 3/8" high -- I used the Shelby stripe dimensions and gave to the graphics guy

I love the hood, like those much better than the others. If I were to add stripes though I'd want them painted on. also I would want them to continue down the bumper. I dig the rocker stripes also, they are in the same place as other cars, must be the contrast of black and red that make them seem too high or maybe their width.

When I got my car they offered white stripes on it for free, they looked nice but after inspecting a sonic blue v6 with them, I could see little wrinkles where they went around the third brake light. Plus as said before I'd want them painted on, so I declined.

If I go with stripes, those are the ones I want. Nice job, can never get enough of looking at these Mustangs.

 

Somebody asked the center hood stripe deminsion, so here it its:

Hood Stripe

Large Stripe -- 13"

Gap between stripes -- 3/4"

Small Hood Stripes on each side -- 1 3/4"


Orginaally, I was thinking of a 14" center stripe with the overall goal to keep all the stripes in between the winshield washer sprayers.
