I no I saw it on here, but I can't find it. Someones has built a bolt on air intake for on top of the manifold. You've got to cut a whole or get a custom hood for it.

I want to get one but I can't find the thread. Help please?

Is it me or is that air being delivered to the topside of the air filter thus feeding the engine unfiltered air.

Guys, please do a search on this in the forum. All of the information is already out there as I received responses back from CDC on how it works and already posted them.

No, air comes out of the back of the head unit and routes around to the air filter chamber.

UPDATE from CDC!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Feb 2005 Contact: Marnie Kramer
248-624-7997

A Natural

WALLED LAKE, MI Classic Design Concept, LLC has had a natural connection with the Mustang since the late 1980’s, it was a natural for them to connect again to the new 05 Mustang.

CDC has borrowed from the past and taking a natural twist of that history to create today’s designs that compliment the original lines of the vehicle, while highlighting the original Muscle car images of the past. CDC has been natural at designing these components and made a true splash from the past with the release of their 1999-04 styled Shaker System for the GT and V6 Mustang.

It was only natural for them to take that past splash and redesign it to fit the retro style of the 2005 Mustang. CDC will be debuting there newest Shaker version at the NADA Show in New Orleans. This all new redesigned shaker system has been engineered to fit the factory 2005 GT Mustang.

The newest Shaker System is again a fully functional system with a cast aluminum hood scoop integrated into an awesome custom engine cover. The added design details and application options enhance the performance appearance and spice up the under hood look to a striking level for this cold air intake kit. The 2005 Shaker System is available using the factory GT Hood or the optional CDC offered Shaker Hood. Now owners have a choice to either modify their factory hood or use the optional aftermarket hood.

When it comes to details…Classic Design Concepts are naturals. They have tastefully added the Mustang emblems, functional layout, clean applications and created an Original Equipment design that again will have people asking…is that factory?

With a late spring debut this Shaker System will be standard with all necessary mounting hardware, templates and instructions to ease the installation process.

Founded in 1990, Classic Design Concepts, LLC. is an original designer and manufacturer of unique Original Equipment quality restyling products, supplying both the Original Equipment and aftermarket truck and automotive industry. For further information contact: Classic Design Concepts, LLC. 1880 W. West Maple Road Walled Lake, MI 48390. www.classicdesignconcepts.com 248-624-7997.

If you'll do a search it's already been stated that it includes a cone filter and all air is filtered. As far as I know no one has received a picture to confirm this, but that is what is claimed. I doubt CDC would overlook that detail.
