Yeah, I always wonder how these lucky ones get the hookup. I guess you just have to know someone.

Some of us are just born lucky, my friend. The rest of us have to make our own luck. Can't remember who said that... think I read it in a bathroom stall.

With all these parts for my car, I have scratched every 'fund' I ever had. I just realized the other day that I haven't bought any clothes, video games, or anything else unrelated to my car in the past year. Not to mention, I sold my Playstation, laptop, some tools, my heavily modified Colt .45 and my paintball gun in the past year also. My entire life revolves around this car now. It's a sickness, really. And everytime I say the mods are over, something else comes out.
Put the car away and finish that house will ya

Wow, this is exactly what I wanted and asked for. When the SSE came out I asked for this exact thing. Must be a gift from God

Definetly buying that nice peice. Now a little Tri-bar pony emblem on the right side would be perfect.

Jonathan, you read my mind, with the tribar emblem. I'm doing the EXACT same thing, once I get this grill. I would go with the 4" one from the Pony Package, as the smaller 2" isn't big enought, and you can't see it as good. I believe 05StangKC, Kevin, the parts guy, had put different emblems on his SSE center fog light grill. He had a 2" and IMO, it was a bit too small. His pics are in the OEM parts subforum.

Jeff,

Are there any plans on doing one without fogs or a pony?

You sound like my wife! Seriously though, all the money I put into the car comes from me selling other car parts, or my own personal stuff, toys, etc... at least that's how I justify it to my better half.

That would be a good idea, especially for those who have the Roush bumper that already has fogs. I've always though 4 fogs, plus the headlights, were overboard. That's a nice look there.

And I also will be getting a tribar pony on the right side when I do get this grille. The 4" one might be too big... I'd have to see it. I will probably order a reproduction of the original '65/'66 Shelby tribar pony grille emblem. You can get those for $6.50 a piece.

Hey Jason, the front of your car looks fantastic without the fog lights. I have a quesiton? Which size tribar pony logo did you go with, the 2" or 4"? The one you used looks REAL good. Let me know, if you could.

The company that is making this center-fog grille can most likely make a new mold that is modified to have no fogs. Shouldn't be hard to do. I think there would also be a large market out there for a grille with no fogs and no pony. That would look really great on some of these blacked out stangs.

Yes, it is. AFBlue did the grille, I did the color :notnice: and the car belongs to 05-1947.

If you like the idea of fogs in the lower grille then you may find this thread of interest

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=564808

I'd choose the Steeda over the Roush bumper just because it looks more like the OEM bumper.
