I agree. The lack of information is a bit annoying. I guess I could go ahead and post the name of the company and web address of the place that he invited me to come down to check the showroom out of.

This thing should be titled and sold as the Ghost Grill........... :bang:
WTF? No info, no update, no nothing. More of a myth than anything? Someone here who has the tooling could make alot of money since there is seemingly alot of interest but no one producing the finished product.

I was trying to hold out for this grille, I really was. But after getting in the wreck a couple weeks ago and the stock grille being messed up, and me having to order a new grille anyway since the bodyshop is ready to do the work, I am going to go ahead and order the SSE center-fog grille with matching lower bumper grille. And although I like the way this other center-fog grille looks with the "stock" honeycomb grille, the main thing I didn't like about the stock grille was having to clean the darn thing. I'd spend an hour with a small brush cleaning in all the honeycomb crevices. And even after it's all clean it still looks dirty because it's plastic, so it starts to look "grey". The good thing about the SSE grille is that it's a mesh, so it will be a breeze to clean. And since it's powdercoated it will look brand new every time, with minimal work.
And I'm really not worried about the problems people have been having with the SSE grille. I can rig up just about anything to make it look just right. I should have pics of my finished car at the beginning of February. The shop said it will take about a month. I bet by the time I post pics of my car, this grille still won't be out. <_<

Looky what I found over at Mustangworld.com... Notice how it looks like the stock grill pattern but only the lights are centered. The car was displayed at the LA Autoshow (2006).

interesting how that is the exact same grille we are talking about in this topic. Now if only we can find out who makes it. That bumper looks like the 3D Carbon boy racer. I wonder if the grille is made by them as well. I also like how the lower grille has the same pattern as the stock grille. I need one of those for my car......
I searched the LA Auto Show site and didn't find much at all. I figure I'd try posting on their forum to see if anyone knows. I just sighned up, so I'm waiting on my membership to be approved so I can post the question. Stay tuned...

Now, that will find it's way onto my car, if it ever materializes!
I just sign up to mustang world as well; hopefully someone there knows something. I'm going to send an E-mail to 3d carbon and see what they have to say.
