Sorry guys, I love the look and all, just can't see forking out that kinda money, and only getting a very small amount of HP, out of it.

You mean, kinda like putting stripes on a car, or changing wheels, or lowering springs, or... ???? Doesn't the very definition of an "Exterior Mod" imply that no HP gains are expected???

Exactly....

Like I said before:
I cannot believe the LQQKS I get with this Shaker hoodscoop...

This Mustang turns more heads than a college cheerleader!

If you loved the look of the 69/70 Boss and Mach1 - Think about having that look in a car that is docile in daily traffic, handles better, gets decent fuel economy, is safer -and- has a large and growing aftermarket to support it...

I left the OEM vent opening in the air-box open rather than blocking it off per the CDC instructions. The car does seem to run better when hot and the fuel economy is relatively un-changed (17.5-18 around town) but I've only put a couple tanks through it since I did the mod.
I recently purchased a Diablo Predator but the car is in storage right now so I can't see what a tune will do for the car. I suspect that it will be a little bit lean in it's current state.

For me this mod was considered to be a necessary expense in the purchase of this car in order to make the car what "I" wanted it to be...

Ford hit a home run with this car. I just made mine into a GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!
