Not sure this helps much, but I know that MRT up here in Detroit will paint flat black stripes, because I was talking to them about possibly doing some for my Stang. They said they use "Hot Rod Black" paint. I asked about waxing, etc. and they said once it's painted, I can treat it just like the rest of the car. Just thought I'd mention it, in case it help anyone else. If I end up getting mine painted, I'll be sure to post pics, but I'm probably going to wait until next year (have a few other mods on the list first).

...and in regards to the stripes in the OP. Definitely prefer the full stripes.

Good choice on the stripes, really interested in peep'n the pics. Where did you get the hood?
