Black or Gray stripes

I'm ordering and installing stripes on my car next month and have had an idea. Initially I was going to lay down dark gray 12" stripes with a 1.5" gap and 1/2" pinstipes. But I've been thinking, what about matte black stripes instead? Subtle would definately be one word for it, but I'm wondering what everyone thinks about it. I've tried photoshoping one, but it never turns out quite right.

Opinions?

What to see black on black? Try going to http://mach1registry.com/ and look at pics of the black cars. They have matte black hood and side stripes.

My opinion is grey.......that's just me.

Honestly, I don't think matte black on black would look bad at all.
