If you go with someone that uses 3M see if the metallic still has the criss cross pattern in it to help with install. If it does I would find someone who uses Oracal. Oracal has a better gloss and looks much closer to the shine of the paint. I can send you pics of both if you like.

So this criss cross pattern helps with the install?? What is Oracal??

If you could send some pics, that would be great

Its supposed to help when you set them in place to let the water drain easier. The Oracal is just another brand vinyl. The Oracal went on just as easy though. 3M and Oracal from what I have seen are the two most popular brands. The passenger side is the Oracal. Drivers side is 3M. As you can see the Oracal has a better gloss and nearly matches the paint. 3M has a nice metallic but just looks dull in comparison. PM me your email and I will send you more pics.

I have not heard at all from BSM.....so will look into a different vendor. I just checked the Rocky Mountain Graphics website and it looks like they carry the ORACAL stripes that ETNOATS was referring to....but they do not give much info about the stripe package.

I emailed Rocky Mountain Graphics during the week....no reply back.

Is there anyone around that still sells stripe kits? Has anyone bought anything recently from a vendor?

So far no one has emailed/called. I have emailed both BSM and Rocky Mountain Graphics one more time.

Hopefully I will get a call soon as I got my CDC shaker sitting in the basement. I want to stripe the car first and then put the shaker on

Anyone order from the above vendors recently?

i have had good experiences with american muscle with other stuff i bought for my mustang. i didn't get my stripes from them though. they don't carry 10". either 8" or 12". also, i don't know what brand they use. http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...g-stripes.html

what i ended up doing was going to fast signs. i drew the exact dimensions that i wanted (in my case i wanted the side stripes to the 1965 GT specs). then they cut it for me. it was cut and spaced to my specifications (ie your 10" stripes with a 2" space between). all the body shop had to do was to apply the sheet to my car and pull away the paper backing.

it is another option you could consider.

Gary, thanks for the info. I will consider it. I do want to try some of these other companies first as everything is pre-cut already and some even have kits if you have a shaker hood and GT500 spoiler. Hopefully, someone replies back to me.

American Muscle is probably one of the best companies to deal with. They are easily accessible and fast with their service. Their website is the best one I have seen for mustang parts in terms of organization. Though their selection could be more complete though.

Hey Gary, they seem to have very reasonable prices! I am just wondering what the quality is like?

Has anyone here used Jersey Auto Parts for stripes?

Baltimorestreetmods have great quality stripes. I believe they use 3M
material and it LASTS.
You can call them too if you have custom needs.

X2, Yes they seem to not want any of our business as they do not return emails and the last time I called the message box was so full it would not allow any more messages.

What is with this guy?
