Looking to see if anyone is running 285 series tires all the way around. I can get a brand new set of 285/35/19 tires for a good price, but I'm kinda worried how they would fit up front. I'm running 245/45/19 all the way around now (only because I got em for so cheap) but I really want something wider. My car is not lowered, or ever will be, so I'm thinking they may fit. If not, guess I'll go with some 275/40/19s all the way around.

Yeah I'm running 18x9.5 wheels and 285/40/18 tires on all fours. I'll be installing the Eibach Pro-kit springs next week also.

Any rubbing with the 285's and the pro-kit? Also would a 285 be ok on a 9" rim?

285 is too large for a 9" wheel. The smallest width wheel they'll fit is 9.5". 275 is the widest you can do with a 9" wheel; I'm running 275/40/18s on all corners.

I thought I heard that it was still safe if it was only 1/2"

What brand 275/40 are you running? I wanted BFG NT's but they make a 275/35 not a 275/40.
