Anyone Running 275-50/17 Rear Tires?

I have the Nitto NT450 tires and I am happy with them but I am thinking of going with the 275-50/17 rears for alittle more width. Anyone running this combo? Pictures are always good!

I always thought that is was a bad thing to run different thread patterns on front and rear, but I guess if you aren't running them in wet weather it probably doesn't matter.

235mm, 55%, 17" rubber has this diameter:
(23.5cm/2.54 cm/in) * 55% * 2 + 17" = 27.2"

255mm, 50%, 17" rubber has this diameter:
(25.5cm/2.54 cm/in) * 50% * 2 + 17" = 27.0"
@ 60 MPH Indicated, you are traveling at 60 MPH actual

275mm, 50%, 17" rubber has this diameter:
(27.5cm/2.54 cm/in) * 50% * 2 + 17" = 27.8"
@ 60 MPH Indicated, you really are traveling at 61 MPH

275mm, 45%, 17" rubber has this diameter:
(27.5cm/2.54 cm/in) * 45% * 2 + 17" = 26.7"
@ 60 MPH Indicated, you really are traveling at 59 MPH

Dumb question. Does the speedometer and odometer go off the front or rear tires?

I would think it was the rears because think about when you are on a Dyno, The speedo moves while the front wheels do not.

Also when you are doin a burnout/brakestand the speedo will move while you are spinning your tires even if you are in one spot.

Thanks. You're right. I should have thought about it.
