Anyone with larger than 275's on a 10" rim??

I currently have 275/35/20 on my 10" rims and am looking to go wider and a little taller. BFG makes KDW's that are 295/40/20 that I want, but when I called Discount Tire the guy there said that they would rub without making modifications to the car in the wheel well.

Is anyone running larger than 275 with out problems or has anyone HAD problems with a certain width/height??

i run 285 bfg kdw's, just remember every manufacturers tires are different. the kdw's are easily wider then some other brands, een if the same size so as far as fitting on a rim you could go 285-295 even seen 305 but watch out for clearance on the car with some brands

I have 305/45/18 nitto 555R's and don't have any problems. I also have my car lowered 1.5". You gotta have a stiff suspension setup to get away with what I'm running tho. 28.8" overall height and a 1.5 drop doesn't leave much clearance.

295/35/19 on a 10" rim here and no problems. Mind you, an adjustable panhard bar helped.

Let us know how it works out. I am thinking about going with that size also on my 20's. I have the same springs also.
