I'm supposed to have on on order, but I haven't heard from them in weeks. I ordered it before I even got my car, and now that I do, I've been wondering how they're going to fit. At the bottom of the window they would need to allow water to flow through, and at the top, where the glass is even with the sheetmetal, will it stick up too much? I don't know.

I've also got their ducktail spoiler on order, and am really anxious to get that. I think that will be fantastic once I get it.

Please keep us posted, I will most probably get the ducktail from CDC, and I really like that window trim...definately makes the car look old. I would call them and find out what the deal is...when were you suppose to have it?
Did you get the third brake light for the rear window?

They haven't given me a date yet, just things like "They're making this part now, and should start making the spoiler in a couple weeks." I haven't paid yet either, which is good.

There's no need for a new 3rd breaklight, the spoiler sits on top of the rear deck, and doesn't block the breaklight.

It looks a lot like the spoiler on the GT500, but it's 3 piece instead of 1 piece.

I'll try getting in touch with them again tomorrow to see what they say.

I've posted a couple in the past. It's also called the Westrenz ducktail.
Here's one picture, http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?ac...e=post&id=11808

and another.

I just wish they'd start shipping them.

Jay, if you like the third brake light in its present location, take a look at street scenes duck tail spoiler...much nicer than the westrenz IMO. The quaulity and customer service are supposed to be excellent!

I'm not that fond of the Street Scenes ducktail (same as CDCs but with the brake light). I'd really like the one from the GT500, but ...
I'll try 3DCarbon again to see what the status is, and I need to ping on Team Shinoda for the chin spoiler, too.

I'm not feeling the 3DCarbon ducktail. I think the CDC and SS ducktails blend in with the car much better, and look more like the ducktails on the late 60's Shelby's. But, to each his own. If we all liked the same things, we'd all have the same cars, which would not be cool at all.

My Street Scene ducktail is in the paint shop right now. I should have it on the car and take some pics to post on Friday.

I called Jim at Team Shinoda, and they're pulling the black chin spoilers out of the mold this week, so I should be getting that soon.

Still no response from 3DCarbon though.

*sigh*

That spoiler looks pretty good, but I guess I need to see more of it to really make a decision on it. Have any side shots?

Just the one I posted earlier this thread. If there are other pictures, I haven't seen them. But what I have seen is enough to tell me that's the one I want.

I agree, and I like the shape of the ss a little better, it is also higher. I would get it, but I think the third brake light ruins the clean retro look for me, so I will probably end up with the CDC and remote/ relocate brake light kit.
Are you using the factory MG paint? I heard there is like 6 variances on this color and it may not match the paint that is on the car. How much are they charging you to paint it?

Hey Ian,
Are you going with a front spoiler, I'm thinking of a CDC classic and painted MG

Very nice, does the black channel thing on the side have to be black, or can it be painted body color?
