Here's a question, I notice my 07 Mustang makes a lot more wind noise with the windows down compared to my 99. Could the smaller mirrors make a noticeable difference with wind resistance?

I'm considering these more and more. Go for it Torch. Worst case scenario, you find out you don't like them and sell them to me for a discount.

Pedro! Good to hear from you. Hope your Thanksgiving was good.

While I can certainly admire the way your car looks with them, the 2010 mirrors are just not for me. Simply too modern for my tastes.

As did I, plus a forum discount from AFM that brought them down to $169 shipped. Pretty tough to beat that deal

Should be here this morning.

Ordered my set from American Muscle too. Anybody guess how much I'd be looking at to get the cups painted? Start with the Ford dealer maybe?

Got mine today. Overall very impressed with the quality, with a single exception.

The mold line on the arm that holds the mirror housing head is VERY prominent. No way I would just put these straight on without sanding that down and recoating them.

I left mine unpainted but I may have them painted black later. As they are now I just touch them up occasionally with some "Back To Black".

Just not for me. Too angular and modern for my taste.

Silverhorse Racing is about 2.5 hours from Ft. Lauderdale. I'm not familiar with Florida, so that's the only one I know of.

They normally welcome guests and if they're not too busy, you might get a tour.

Yep

If you are willing to make the drive, we're always welcome to have guests, even if the place is a mess at the time - we do work here !!

Actually, it's looking pretty nice right now, we're getting close to the open house this weekend so it should be in top form.
