68 or 69 Styled Steel Wheels
#1
I'm curious if the 68 or 69 styled steel wheels can be made to fit the new mustangs. I have a 2005 and want the 15" ones at this link.
Wheels
Of course I'd have to somehow figure out which tire size would put me close to the same tire/rim size off my stock 2005 GT, but I still think these chrome wheels would look good with the GT center caps on this retro car.
I've heard that old wheels need some conversion deal to make them fit the 2005 or vice versa but not sure. Thanks for any help.

I doubt those wheels will have enough clearance for the rotors and calipers. Also, the distance between the lugs would have to match.
Being 7" wide might make the handling suffer a bit. Perhaps you might like to consider the Heritage wheels of the '03-'04 Mach 1.

The V6 comes with 16" wheels and gt with 17". So I would assume 16" ones are possible, to clear the brakes. Anyone know of a custom place that will build to spec that could replicate 16 or 17" ones that look like them?

The GT has bigger brakes, and therefore 16" wheels will not fit on the front. Also, the GT's 17 inch wheels are designed for the car, some 17" wheels may rub the calipers depending on the spoke design.
