19" wheel options

hi all,
i want to share with you 19" wheel options.
Looks like Discounttire.com has a bunch of them.
You will need a ring kit since this is NOT hubcentric wheels.

These g-game wheels are japanese wheels and in 19x8.5, they weight only 22lbs. hi pressed aluminum.

i like the gunmetal color to match alloy or black GT.

I'm looking at 19" wheels instead of 20" cause i live in the NYC area..and im worried that 20" might be HARSH.

thanks all!!

One thing to consider Yao is that a majority of the wheels jump from 18 to 20's and the 19's are less common. That usually means that the tires for 19" rims cost more and in the long run that is something to consider. That said if you like them go for it!

I would definitely consider ride quality in NYC!

yes Milstang..u are right. i did notice that in my search for tires.
i wonder why in the mustang world 19" wheels were skipped.
tires for 19" wheels are almost double the price than 20" wheels...

truly something to consider.

With 19" wheels, the 'stang is running the same tires size at the new BMW m6 at 255/40/19

I have been thinking of staggering the wheel size, 18" in front and 19" in the rear. These are nice looking options for the rear.

Or I might go 19" up front and 20" in the rear. Who knows?

Ford wanted the Mustang to be an affordable car and a car that they could pay less to put tires on as well. That would be my guess as to why no 19" optional wheels. I will be going for 18" with meaty shoes on as caligrn stated.
