front bumper, i was looking at it, doesn't seem like it'll be hard/long. the only problem i was having is trying to figure out how to mount the hella fogs i got based on jcthorne's recommendation. apprarently the kits come with different brackets depending on where they're manufacturered. once i figure it out though, i will do the swap

The GT500 front end conversion is VERY eazy to do and is not time consuming at all. There is not a lot of bolts that need to come off to take your front end off or to put the new one on. As far as your fog light question goes I would have to see a picture of the back of it to tell you if it will fit or not. This is how eazy it is to too the conversion, I did mine outside in a thunderstorm in the pouring down rain by myself.

If your talking about my front end it's very easy and took about 90 minutes not counting the paint work and the same for the rear.

here are what my brackets look like. i got the lights that jcthorne used, but apparently they have different brackets depending on where they were manufactured

so i did the conversion yesterday (also swapped out a fender) man because of the fogs, the work was double, drilling the bracket etc etc. i actually dropped one of the fogs and the lens cracked so i'm gonna order another set. since i'm gonna swap it out, i just ghetto rigged it with one bolt on each like and tie-rods lol. i don't like how they'll sit either way. since my sister works in the construction biz, she knows some guys that work with metal, so i'm gonna see if i can get some brackets made with threaded holes in the three holes to bolt in for a PERFECT fit. i still don't know how jcthorne did it lol. oh one other thing, for you gt guys doing the gt500, and you guys go with hid's, the oem h11 connectors plug directly into the ballast for power, so there was no splicing involved whatsoever. the polarities are reversed though, so i just put the plug in upside down and it works perfectly. so now i have hid headlights and fogs. i just gotta order another set of hella optiluxes and then i'll have the brackets made for those.

Ya, wow, after seeing what your fogs looked like I could tell it was going to be a PITA trying to get them to work since the stock mounting holes are way diffrant. But it sounds like your going to custom fab something up to make it work.

yeah, i have it really ghetto rigged with on screw on the bottom and tie rods up top, i don't care, since i cracked one i have to order another set ANYWAYS. i'm gonna see how much it's gonna be to make the brackets, but i gotta take some measurements.

My Mustang wasn´t converted to look like a Shelby but because Kevin provided the parts I show some pics of my beauty in this thread:

Thanks to Kevin for providing the parts for the conversion to Austria´s most beautiful 2005 Mustang (in my opinion)..

Hey Andy, your Mustang is looking great! Are you coming to Salzburg for holidays? It would be great to cruise with you up to the Gaisberg, I hope the weather allows us a nice cruise when you come to Salzburg! At the moment my Mustang is standing in a garage during winter and i drive something that can´t really be called a car (it´s a Smart), but with a little luck and Kevins help I hope to change that in the near future.....
