Could someone help with a photoshop?

I had a slight mishap with my car a few weeks ago, and had to send it to the body shop to repair the stripes in the front bumper. Well, needless to say, they messed them up a small bit. Up close they aren't perfectly measured out. I went back to get the shop manager to see the mistake and schedule a time to bring the car back to get it corrected. Well, lets say, that he didn't see what I (and his boss, the owner) saw, and walked away. So, the owner has me bring it back on Monday to fix. This has gotten me thinking of just changing the entire cover out from the stock GT cover with a CDC Classic Chin, to a GT/CS-Shelby GT cover but with a twist....the spot where its normally black in the middle, would also be painted blue, and the stripes would continue down.

This is where I need help. There is only 1 car in the 21 pages of this post that has the lower center section painted, and that car is Torch Red. I was hoping someone could take the picture of a Shelby GT I got from ebay, that I posted below, and do a quick photochop. Add blue to the center part of bumper, add stripes to the lower section, and change the color of the stripes from silver to white stripes. This way, I can see if it would look good or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't know the 1st thing with photoshop.

Thought I would post the latest and last pics of my slightly converted GT with a cervini cowl hood. I had put up pics earlier in this thread but it has changed quite a bit since then.

Dearlership has it now...traded it for an 08 GT500.

Your New Car Adds a Different Meaning to the Term GT-500 Conversion! Congrats!

After you get Used to the New Car might want to Consider this!

Thanks...Yeah, I thought about the phrase GT500 conversion when I replied in this thread. Kind of a funny statement for me now.

I was considering it the day I bought the GT500... I had Dougs race tune in my previous GT and loved it. I can only imagine what a CAI and tune can do for the GT500.

I have to agree with you there but the GT500 wont be stock for long. I plan on making changes with it too. Not too sure of the look I am going for yet. Thats the best part of doing mods is finding out what works for your car.

Here is a Bit of History.

If you Remember the Opening of I am Legend close observation shows The GT-500 With Manhattan Ford New Plates. Recently I got ahold of Some Gt-500 Parts from Manhattan Ford. In the Back of my Mind I was Thinking these were Probably Unused Spares Ordered for the Movie Shoot Stunt Cars and were returned after the Movie was done. It was Just a thought ,the Date code on the Parts Jived and Since they used a Car From Manhattan Ford it would make sense they would get Parts for any Little Accidents. Anyway I had a hunch but was not sure. Upon Closer Investigation I noticed on the Shipper Tag PICTURE CARS INC. as the Customer. These Got to be Parts from the Movie! Just to Many Coincidents. Anyhoo thought it was kind of cool and Some of my Conversion Customers will Get a Little History with their Conversion! These Shipper Tags will go in My Shelby Album as a Little Memento. Just thought it was kind of Cool and wanted to Share the Story. Also if Memory serves I remember a Video or possibly a tv show some time back showing These Red Gt-500's getting Hammered doing Stunts. At the Time it merely stated they were movie stunt cars. I do not believe they said which movie it was for.

Enjoy,

KC

Here's mine, just completed it yesterday (got the parts from KC last Fall but life got in the way...) Did all the paintwork and install myself (pretty good for a professional "computer guy" if I do say so myself...)

A new hood to match (with the "rise" on the leading edge) is already in the works
