Question: If you put 20 inch rims 20x9 front and 20x10 back with stock gt suspention is that good or will the fenders be bumping off the wheels?

 

You can do that and lower it and still be good.

 

The 20" will fit fine, the bigger thing is the tires. I had 22" x 9" wheels on my car for a bit last year, with 255x35 tires and no problems with the stock suspension. It looked like it was sitting higher, but there was no chance of it rubbing (we tested it lock to lock before we went anywhere). I think you'd be fine lowered a bit too, there seemed to be plenty of room up front for sure, and out back I think there is all kids of room still.

 

Ok guys just making sure...
with the 20 inch rims if the wheel comes out of the fender as i would like to do it in thh front will it still be ok ... i understand that there might be plenty of room in the wheel well but I want to make my wheels really wide to come out of the fender so ti has a cool fat look ....
will it still have room from the fender if its right below it and more out?

I added the pony emblem from my old bumper ... it sucks that i spent money to get an 04 emblem when i thought it was metal.... i was so ****ed off when i saw it was plastic so i said to my self y not putt he 07 when its much bigger and nicer... here s teh result!

 

My car should be out of the shop next week after completing all the collision repairs and Screaming Yellow GT500 conversion .... here is sneak peek at my "Yellow Edition" Cobra emblems ..

 

Very Nice Job On The Emblems! FYI For Others Wanting a Different Cobra Emblem Look , Ford Offers these With Red Inserts Also! I have a Set in Stock!

What color red is that, Torch or Redfire? I don't think that would match my Torch Red. Also will those emblems cover the holes from the GT emblems on the fenders?

 

All The 05up Mustang Emblems are Interchangable and Use the Same Locating Pins. GT,Cobra and Pony Emblems. It Is a Deep Red I will Check it With Torch Red Touch up Paint And See if We Have a Match. No Metallic In it.

To be honest I really was not interested in doing cobra emblems but now that I see them painted like that I'm almost sold. Are you painting them KC or do they come from ford like that? Can you set one next to a ford that's painted torch red and see if it's a match.

Cobra emblems are nice but i still thing the pony emblem looks so much better and makes the car look a lot meaner .... that's why i stuck with it
plus cobra emblems are way too expensive i dont even think it's worth it unless u have a gt 500
