05 boss 302 is now complete
Thanks for the kind words...
you know maybe if ford and other builders listen to mustang owners about what they want then maybe we would not have to build tribute cars. And we are not cheap like ford or other builders,
After 'listening' to the spirited responses over the 'Boss 302' and how we may or may not like it,- what would be wrong with 'Boss 281' or 'Boss 4.6' ? If you look at the HP/CID ratio, I think you might agree that it has earned the name 'Boss' . You can sure 'twist' it as hard ! It even seems to like it ! So all I can say is dude, it's your car and it looks great! As far as accuracy is concerned, Boss 281 would be original-- accurate and look good too. JMO.
Mine says Boss 245 because it is a 6. I get the question "Is it a real Boss?" It sure is, cause I built it up myself.

Built in the spirt of the original, lightweight car, small motor. The car runs 12.8 now on an email tune.

I agree, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Boss281...
Stick with the engine cubic inch displacement ... nothing wrong with Boss 281 - 302, 351, 429 ... all good.
