I saw that but the site i used also showed that after mounting the 235's on the 18x9's that it spreads it out wider and therefore makes it shorter........agree??

Not a big difference the section width is still 9" even for a Nitto which runs small and the tires is still pretty tall 27.3 meaning lots of side wall. Now if the tire was a 225 or the wheel another 0.5"s they would be shorter and you would have some decent stretch.

No rubs so far: 235/50/18 on 18x9's in front and 275/40/18 on 18x10's in rear!

From the pictures it looks like your driver side sticks out more than your passenger. The adjustable PHB will straiten you rear end so both sides are even.
