I went to see the Milwaukee Bucks play the Denver Nuggets last night, which has NBA's 4th best record (56-25). Denver won 112:111, but still it was one of the best games that I went to (especially the 2nd half).

Is the part where the Lakers use their injured Captain as an inspiration tool to lead them through the playoffs and become world champions?

Do you think he'll be able to contribute?

It just happened in college basketball, so why not?

[QUOTE="stangfoeva;6604389"]

Do you think he'll be able to contribute?

I've been disappointed with him and Vince carter, Steve Francis, ever since they departed their original teams.
Francis was a good player, fun to watch when he was on the rockets, then him and mcgrady traded places, I thought mcgrady was gonna be great with the Knicks or pistons. Well that never happen. And carter he signed with nets after that playoff season with the raptors. He didn't explode to the hoop anymore. With him on Dallas, you see him do that once in blue moon.

But I think Tracy could contribute, he's 33, and in 29 games was avg.. 25pts and about 8 rebounds overseas. I know it's not the nba, but still. With popavich coaching him. He could be dangerous!
What you think?

I see the same. It was a low risk possibly high reward scenario for them. I don't think he'll do much, but he can't really hurt them.

I'm surprised Spurs got rid of Jackson, especially since Ginobili is still injured.

I know McGrady is few years younger than Jackson, but McGrady has been out of shape for years (ever since that injury).

They got rid of him for an argument he got into with Pop. Allegedly over his role on the team (i.e. he wanted more minutes)

And wasn't it the pay too? I wish the jazz stuck behind Sloan instead of the guy that left anyways. Since the 98-99 season, spurs have won over 50games, that's saying something about that organization!

Yea I wouldn't either, he moved on. Perfectly content. Awesome thing is. He hasn't tried to come back and taint his career. Currently retired in southern Illinois
