If you want to be a self glorified idiot then knock yourself out. Most of USC wins were against losing teams. Beating Notre Dame by 3 lousy points don't make them the team of the century either. I call them as I see them. KMA.

Texas barely beating Oklahoma State, yeah they deserve it more. Just wait until the big game buddy.

USC is not overrated. Yeah, they had a couple close games, but everybody does. Bush and Leinart are just gonna be too much for Texas.

OK - USC is probably not overrated. They've done what they needed to do to maintain their #1 ranking.

As to who's played more ranked teams - wait til after all the bowls have been played and see who's ranked then. Some of the ranked teams from both schedules have dropped off.

I lived out West for 14 years, and still think the Pac-10 is a weaker conference than 2-3 others. ASU BARELY beating Rutgers last night only adds to that. ASU is one of the teams that had a legit shot at beating USC this year, but blew a big lead.

Texas has really beaten no big team other than OSU, who in my opinion is better than ND and will show that next week.

I am one of the people who think that Texas will win though - 51-31. USC simply can't stop anyone with a balanced offense.

USC pounded a highly overrated OK team last year and SHARED the Title the year before, when LSU was probably the best team. Apples and oranges though - just peoples opinion until we get a playoff system.

Big 12>Pac 10 any day.
Wake up, dude. I'm an Oklahoma State and Big 12 fan, and last year I thought the championship game would be easy for OU. WRONG! USC and the Pac-10 showed us otherwise, and the Big 12 is cake this year. That why Texas walked through their schedule so easily. USC will show Texas what a good team really is. And OU has to play Oregon this year, and the Ducks' only loss is to USC. Just being realistic.

I didn't think they were overrated until lately when they started to compare them to the best teams in history BEFORE the National Championship game. If one thing, in the numbers and stats they use Texas beats them in quite a few categories, AND USC hasn't won anything yet. Though USC is a really good team and if they win they'll be comparable to the best offenses. I'm pulling for the Big 12 in this one.
On the NotreDame game, I still don't know if what Bush did was legal, is it to push someone(Leinart) into the endzone? Very good game though.

I don't know if you saw this game or not(I'm guessing not), but I was surprised.

They asked Mack Brown at halftime(down 12-28) if he was worried, or if he would change anything. Calmly he said, "Nope, we got Vince Young and Vince doesn't lose.....last year when we played OSU they were leading at halftime and we beat them, and I don't expect anything to change this year."

He should have won the "Brass ***** of the Week" award, because I doubt I'd say that being down by 16 at halftime. Yes, Texas was the #2 team in the nation and OSU was OSU, but he was confident and knew his team.

Also "Texas vs Oklahoma St W 47-28" a 19 point victory shouldn't be classified as "barely beat."

It's gonna be a good game, USC isn't overrated at this point. They've done everything they've had to do to be the #1 seed. However, it will depend on how they respond to pressue, as ESPN is almost crowning them "Best College Football Team Ever."

Well Oregon choked last night and lost to OU. Although I have to give credit to OU, they played very well, especially on defense. That Rose Bowl game is going to be a great one, no doubt.

I just hope it is a good game, but last years OU debachery can't help but create some debate as to how good the Big 12 is. If I had to place money on it, I think USC is the safer bet.

Maybe I didn't give Texas, I mean Vince Young enough credit. He was a stud. On his performance alone they deserve to win that game. Even if he does throw from his knees. Props to them.

I'm sorry but losing by three points to the number 2 team in the country still does not make them overrated. ESPN( ) hyped them up. As I said before, as a UCLA fan I will be last to make any excuses for the trojans, but they do deserve your respect.

USC wasn't overrated and Texas wasn't underated. They were, and still are, the top 2 teams in college football. Young was invincible (sorry) last night and I'm sure he'd be the first to give credit to his offensive line. They completely neutralized USC's pass rush.

The word is overused, but that game was a classic.

So.......since USC was supposed to be the "Greatest College Team Ever", does that make Texas the "Greatest College Team Ever?" Maybe they're just the team that upset the "Greatest College Team Ever?"

Anyways.....ESPN overhyped USC, but they deserved their #1 rating. USC played an excellent game. USC shouldn't hang their head, nor should they cry "referee missed call foul."

One of the greatest games I've ever seen! I was pulling for the Trojans, but am happy to have seen a game like that
