Alright gents, especially you guys to the north. How do you think this is going to play out. I find it hard to believe that Waynes wife bet half a million in six months. I mean I could be wrong.

 

I don't think Gretzky would be stupid enough to be involved with something like this.

As long as it doesn't involve placing bets on hockey, it is alright, otherwise, if NHL players were betting on games, this could be an ugly can of worms and a scandal like Pete Rose.

Personally this could be a bad blow to hockey especailly after the season they are having.

This is going to be interesting. Players are allowed to gable and place bets according to NHL rules, but it must be at a legel establishment. If they find this was an illegal establishment he could be toast wether he bet on Hockey or not.

It's my guess that Bettman will try and keep the Great One out of this as much as possible. Tocchet however, is expendable...
