The interior color schemes for the 2007 Mustangs have proven to be massively confusing. The 2007 order guide description describes the PTP schemes as all having trim color seats and door panels, but once cars started being delivered, it quickly became apparent that the order guide does not match what is actually being built. It doesn't help any that Ford put up pictures on their web site that are photoshopped concoctions that not only show the colors wrong, but also show the color schemes incorrectly(IE, trim color seats instead of black). I have been collecting photos as people have posted them on these forums and finally with the receipt of my car (equipped with the red interior) and Tony getting his (with dove SAP) I've got enough to post the schemes here so people who might be thinking of ordering an '07 can see exactly what they will get. I'll post as many pics as I have with each scheme being a separate post within this thread to avoid confusion (hopefully )

My apologies to those who may have posted these pictures originally for my not giving you credit here, all except the red PTP pics are not mine but were nabbed off these forums. Unfortunately I don't remember who posted most of them.

I'll be using the following abbreviations:

PTP Premier Trim w/ Color Accent Package
SAP Sport Appearance Package
IUP Interior Upgrade Package


Let's get started:

PTP- Chamois
Description: trim color seats and door panel inserts, all else black including mats

 

PTP- Red
Description: trim color seats and door panel inserts, all else black including mats

 

PTP- Parchment (recently renamed in the order system to Camel)
Description: black seats, door panel inserts, carpet, upper dash and upper console; trim color door panels, lower dash and lower console

This is where the confusion lies, notice that this color scheme is quite different than the red and chamois. The color scheme is kind of flip-flopped with the seats and door panel inserts being black and other parts being the trim color. Basically it's almost the opposite of the red and chamois schemes! This does not match the order guide description, but this IS what is being delivered if you order PTP in parchment/ camel.

Pics & car- Bob (BeBeep)

 

PTP- Dove
Description: black seats, door panel inserts, carpet, upper dash and upper console; trim color door panels, lower dash and lower console

This is the same color scheme as the parchment/ camel.

 

PTP- Black
Description: all black interior but with PTP extras

In the order guide PTP is actually listed as "Premier Trim w. Color Accent Package", but some people don't realize you CAN order this with all black if you want to get the wrapped & stitched components that are included with PTP.

SAP- Dove (shown with cloth, also available in leather)
Description: black seats and door panel inserts, trim color door panels, lower dash and lower console

SAP- Parchment/ Camel (available in cloth or leather)
Description: black seats and door panel inserts, trim color door panels, lower dash and lower console

This is a placeholder, no pictures have surfaced of this particular scheme yet.

 

GT/CS (California Special)- Dove
Description: black seats with trim color inserts, black door panel inserts w/ IUP or trim color door panel inserts w/o IUP, trim color door panels, lower dash and lower console

 

GT/CS (California Special)- Parchment
Description: black seats with trim color inserts, black door panel inserts w/ IUP or trim color door panel inserts w/o IUP, trim color door panels, lower dash and lower console

 

Base interior- Dark Charcoal
Description: all black interior

 

Base interior- Medium Parchment/ Camel
Description: black upper dash and upper console, remainder of interior in trim color. Door panel inserts are black if car is equipped with IUP.

 

Base interior- Light Graphite
Description: black upper dash and upper console, remainder of interior in trim color. Door panel inserts are black if car is equipped with IUP.

 

Shelby- Dark Charcoal
Description: All black interior, cobra logo on upper seat area

 

Shelby- Dark Charcoal w/ inserts
Description: All black interior, cobra logo on upper seat area, crimson red inserts
