Lakers
I know Duncan complains, he's gotten worse about it, but he gets aggravated with those f'n refs. And they all complain and whine and ***** and moan, every single one of them. Wouldn't you? Ginobli is Ginobli. Like West and Paul and those guys didn't flop on occasion. At least Ginobli has the ***** to put his head down and drive the lane.

I don't mind Duncan, he's a good guy and always plays clean, but I really can't stand Ginobili.
I remember him when he was playing in Italy, he was doing the same thing. He keeps falling after every little contact with other players and then shoots 10-15 free throws per game.

I know you're right but he's on my team so its OK. Just like all those Laker fans that would call Kobe a punk or a thug or a rapist if he happened to play on another team. I like Duncan he's a real stand up guy and a great role model, Ginobli is a good guy but the dramatics are over the top. I wish he'd just shut up and play, he'd get more respect then. I've never seen a team that can be so good go so cold so fast. You know its coming, they can't shoot lights out from beginning to end. Oh well I hope they win I really like them as a team and always have since Gervin.
Granted, almost every NBA complains, but Tim Duncan is among the worst. He complains as much as Sheed, he just doesn't go ballistic and get the techs. Duncan thinks he has never committed a foul.
I think the main reason I don't like the Spurs is because they are boring to watch and they win too much.

I havent watched an NBA game all season. I think it's terrible, college basketball is a hell of a lot better. I hate the Lakers, and I'll root on anyone that beats them. They should just be called the Los Angeles Kobe Bryant.
I used to be in the camp that college was better. As I have watched more and more of the NBA, I have grown to think the NBA is so much better. The quality of basketball and rules are both superior. If you think that all they are is Kobe, then you certainly haven't watched the NBA this year.
i love all the laker hate in here. its gonna make it that much sweeter when they finish off whats left of the defending champ spurs. then all you guys will have left is your excuses,"Kobe is a ball hog!" "The refs cheated!" etc, etc.
The bottom line is the refs make bad calls both ways everygame. the better team finds a way to play through it.

I actually have grown to kinda like Kobe as a person that really dislikes the Lakers. I still don't root for him per se, but I respect how great of a player he is and how he has actually become a pretty good teammate.

When was the last time some other team got 27 free throws in the 4th quarter?
I pretty much stopped watching most of the NBA games because of the Lakers (I only watch games when Jazz, Hornets and Warriors play).

did that year. When you get over the foul limit very early in the quarter, and you keep fouling, its easy to put them on the line 27 times. At the end of that Laker run I did kind of feel badly for the Kings cuz the Lakers ruined their chances of getting a ring. The Kings just couldnt get over the hump because two of their best players were notorius for going away in the clutch. Im talking about C. Web and Peja. Remember overtime in Game 7?
If i remember correctly one of Peja's threes hit all backboard.and if you dont believe me, look at the Game 7 footage from this year hornets/spurs cuz he did it again lol
My hatred of the Lakers stems from the run they made with Kobe/Shaq. Shaq completely screwed over Orlando and I can never forgive him for that. I developed a hatred of the Lakers then that I doubt they will ever break free from.

Or how about game 4 when at the end of 2nd quarter Samaki Walker hit a 3 point shot after time run out? At the end Lakers won by 1 meaning that shot did decide a winner.
Do I even need to mention Shaq breaking Bobby Jackson's arm and refs didn't even call a foul?

Sorry you feel that way, but that's exactly why I hate them.
My point is the refs suck both ways. Everybody knows it but no one wants to admit it. Now you said you hate the spurs too so you should really be indifferent right now cuz the lakers-kings rivalry is over.

Refs sucks both ways, but not equally. I see calls called on whoever guards Bryant (and O'Neal when he was with Lakers) that would never be called on most of NBA players.
I don't like Spurs for different reasons, but I will never call them what I will always call Lakers - CHEATERS. Spurs will always have my respect, but Lakers never will, no matter what they do.
Kings - Lakers rivalry might be over, but one thing hasn't changed and that is the fact that Lakers still have a big help from referees. They had it in all 3 home games against Jazz and they had it in game 1 against Spurs.

. You only like him because he's on your team. So enjoy it while you can, because I'd rather lose with pride than win with Kobe. I can easily live without he NBA.
