Lakers
If anything it will be a very interesting year for the 'Boys. We'll see if a team with T.O., Patrick Crayton, Pac-Man, and Tank Williams can hold it together under a seemingly lax coach and a win at all cost Owner. I am however a Romo fan and always have been. I was one of the ones begging for them to start him over Bledsoe after he was showing so much in the preseason.
Oh well I know ya'll couldn't care less about the 'Boys. Good luck to you and the Lakers and if ya'll go against the Celtics or even Pistons, please beat 'em. We have to show the West is dominant. Sweep them like we did to the Cavs last year.
As for the 'niners, I'm not a fan, all I can say is dang Dwight Clark and Joe Montana
, I was like 9 that day and I cried! But I have nothing against the new niners, I think you have a good coach in Nolan if they'll give him time. And who knew Alex Smith would take a step backwards. You just need to strengthen the line and pound Gore like the year before last and Alex's job will get easier. Its amazing how a consistent running game will help a quarterback.

Did you guys see the Finals schedule?
It's 2-3-2. Regardless of the winner of the Celtics/Pistons series one of them will get the first two home games. Good thing is if the Lakers can take one of the first two games they have an awesome shot of finishing up the series at home.

The all-star game doesn't have the best players for each league, only the most popular.

Since we have interleague play, they should just total up which league has the most wins against the other. Let the all-star game break any ties.
i always felt the 2-3-2 format favored the team without the home court advantage more so. All the Lakers have to do is "steal" one in the garden and then protect home court. Easier said than done though...so we'll see. But Im confident in our guys that we can stay focused and get the job done

Same thing I wrote yesterday.
It took 6 years, but Tim Donaghy finally admitted what we knew all along - Game 6 between Kings and Lakers back in 2002 western finals was fixed.

It took 6 years, but Tim Donaghy finally admitted what we knew all along - Game 6 between Kings and Lakers back in 2002 western finals was fixed.
In one of several allegations of corrupt refereeing, Donaghy said he learned in May 2002 that two referees known as “company men” were working a best-of-seven series in which “Team 5” was leading 3-2. In the sixth game, he alleged the referees purposely ignored personal fouls and called “made-up fouls on Team 5 in order to give additional free throw opportunities for Team 6.”
“Team 6” won the game and came back to win the series, the letter said.
Only the Los Angeles Lakers-Sacramento Kings series went to seven games during the 2002 playoffs. And the Lakers went on to win the championship.
At the time, consumer advocate Ralph Nader and the League of Fans, a sports industry watchdog group, sent a letter to Stern complaining about the officiating in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals.
The Lakers, who beat Sacramento 106-102 in that game in Los Angeles, shot 27 free throws in the final quarter and scored 16 of their last 18 points at the line.

I'm leaving for Europe day after tomorrow and I'll really enjoy my vacation knowing that somebody finally admitted the truth about that happened 6 years ago (and that Celtics won 2008 championship).

should be a great series.
