Just looking at the numbers, I would agree. However, I have driven stock and midified '03 cobras. The difference is phenominal. The power comes on much more quickly. I wouldn't go all out, but, when that big diff is there with $3k worth of bolt-ons, I'll likely do it.

I would nodify it, heck I modified my original 67 Shelby GT500-

Magnaflow exhaust
Shelby Race Springs
cam
some head work, built the tranny, gears,
added external oil cooler, electric fans

nothing that couldnt be reversed....

But Mustangs are made to be modified....
