I was reading the new issue of Road and Track a little while ago.

In it they had an competition between a bunch of race, tuner and stock sports cars to see who could get to the mile mark the fastest.

The Champ car won the time but the Hennesey Viper was going faster by the end.

I think the Vortec Mustang was hitting 174 by the mile mark.

On one run the Mustang Driver kept gunning it after the mile was up and hit the rev limiter in 5th gear. Which is approximately 192mph.

I read it great article the Mustang would of done better but they had trouble launching it.

 

That was a good article. The Vortech supercharged Mustang GT was actually faster than the FordGT supercar.

 

Heh, read it today at Barnes and Noble, yeah it was a pretty good article.

I have read the article as well and it has pushed me to Vortec. The car is serious in this article.
