wow whats up with the tacky light covers......and the stupid stripe on the deck lid....

i dont like it at all...

 

It says its mainly just rumblings. Well see if anything actually happens.

 

The light covers aren't Ford's.

 

I prefer the name Boss 5.4 over Boss 329.

 

The picture is not of a Ford prototype but of a customer conversion of a GT. I think the point was to demonstrate customer interest in a Boss model

 

That's some guys "boss" it's not the real Boss. From the sound of the speculative article, there will be a Boss down the shoot from Ford. Any particulars about it are still up in the air.

 

i think if they were to bring the boss back go up not down or keep it the same....no boss 329 bs stay with boss 429 or boss 529

 

Either name works for me as long as Ford builds it!!

Very interesting....from a product standpoint..the Boss would nicely slot in between the GT and the GT500. must have more info. Thanks for sharing.

 

My Choice of a very excited response would include expletives so I will just stay quiet and hope it come true and they get it right. :banana2: :cheer:

when i first saw the post, i thought i was going to open it to good news, not just more speculation.

it should be boss 329. Got to stay with cubic inches in my taste.

 

At this point it sounds like Ford's first challenge is coming up with a usable powerplant for the "Boss" Mustang. It didn't sound like they were willing to "borrow" the 5.0 DOHC from Motorsports. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with...

 

I wonder what these guys will have to say about Ford using the Boss name...

I would have preferred a new Mach, but I can live with a Grabber Blue BOSS 329

 

Craptastic headlights instead of air intake... didnt remove the GT badge... no hood scoop... regular bullitt wheels... no rear window louvers... and what makes it a Boss 302?

Now that im done with that, Ford better make a real Boss!

 

What kind of horsepower would this car be putting out? I mean, we already have the Shelby coming out, with over 450 with a 5.4 supercharged engine... So what other engine could they possibly use in the mustang to be able to compete with Corvettes and the new Challenger coming out (if it truly has the 6.1 engine)?
