The no track issue is a big one for me. Also the flex in the body. I am sure it is better than the previous, but, 500lb/ft torque will still twist it a little. That heavier front end will probably be more noticeable in the vert also.

Read the motortrend article. It states that Ford doesn't have any current plans to build a ragtop for the 2007MY. Ugh..

I'm just guessing, but, more body flex in turns. Heavier front end = more flex.

Hardtop for me... it would be nice for a vert to be offered for those who want one, but I would much rather have the hardtop!

Since I live in Florida and I already have a GT Convertible, it would only make sense to me to get a vert.

Yeah, I live in New Hampshire, so I need a 'vert for the 90 nice days we have here!
Sounds like we now may get a GT500 convertible....

For me, the only way to go is the hard top. I think the fastback style is a huge part of the style and attraction of the car. For me it is at least.
