For me, the Convertible is the only way to go. How about your comments and opinions...

A vert would be cool, especially if it came with the "styling bar" like the '60s era GT500's had.

A vert with the bar is the way to go but at what price? I'd settle for the Hardtop, if that is not out of reach.

Hardtop here. I dont want to add anymore weight to the car or compromise its structure in any way.

I understand your point. I have owned a number of Mustang (&Shelby) convertibles, so I can't help myself...

Hardtop, just because I'm not a vert fan.

Looks like the split is about the same as it historically was, 70% HTop, 30% Vert... No surprises here...

This is a no brainer. Verts are for wimps and women. Real men drive coupes.

I am serious!

Okay, chump. More air for me. Or...to rephrase....the Viper is a girl's car? The Ferrari (too numberous to mention)? The Vette? The A/C Cobra?
If it's built right, it don't matter, chump.

Go back to your cave, monkeyboy...

The Z06 Vette doesn't have a vert option.

Okay, so the Vette Z06 doesn't have it (but I heard the new one might have it as an option--Targa roof). Can you discount all the other "serious" sportscars that have a droptop? No....

Can't race a convertible at most tracks without a real bar. No hoops

Had 2 verts. A Stang (avatar) and a Fairlane 500 both were fun and cool cars. Since I am getting older I think I would rather go with the HT this time around.
