MRT interceptor in car&driver
Which one? The current one or the previous edition? I usually scour the magazine racks for anything on the Shelby or unique Mustang info. ... but I usually buy them on another cool article on the 05 as well.

I found the article ... and curses they mention the self tinting headlight covers again!
I want MRT to come out with those covers! ... for the Mustang and the Shelby.

Negative Ghostrider, the ones on the MRT have been stated in numerous articles as going from tinted to clear upon activation of the lights. That way you have the full brightness of the lights with them on and the tint when they are off.
Best of both worlds to me!

MRT has on its priority list to get those into production at some point in the future. The photoelectric film they used on this car is still a bit too costly for mass production. They are definitely working to make it affordable.
It is a very clever modification!

I agree! I would also pay a lot more for these, especially if they will fit on a Shelby. This is just something I have wanted people to come out with for many years.
... that and the paint you can control by changing a current in it.

Any idea how much those might run or is it too early yet? I have wanted these for my ride the minute I saw them and went with the pure blackouts - they look awesome and sinister but they REALLY cut down on the brightness of the headlamps....
