I know this is a fairly poor question to be asking, but i am going to anyway! I received my black/black gt a month ago and am looking to add 50 to 100 horsepower without the aid of nitrous or bolting anything on. Is it possible to do this with just adjusting what is already there for the engine/exhaust /etc.? Any ideas on the cost?

Again, sorry for the poor question, but, well, there you have it!

I don't think so. Adding up to 100 hp is going to need something fairly substantial, like a supercharger.

The exhaust on the 05 is so well done, a lot of people are reporting no gain when switching out for an expensive AM model (other than better looks and sound). The highest gains I've seen were something like 27hp for a CAI + tune.

I think if you're looking for >50, then it's probably going to be as easy to get 100 as it is 50. I believe you're looking at $1000's, rather than $100's, as bolt-ons won't likely get you there.

Perhaps a better question for me to ask, without supercharger/bolt-ons/nitrous, any way to get the mustang into the mid-4's 0-60?

You might get close. I did some checking on this, I have the same plan. CNC port and cams should be close to 60 rwhp. You might get 10-15 with exhaust work. syn oil all around maybe 10hp. An intake and tune probably another 30hp. That's over 100 added up. Usually mods do not add up like this, but that's probably 90 rwhp. Close to blowers for similar money.

You may want to ask this question in the GT Performance section. Underdrive pulleys are a must in addition to what others have posted. A better shifter will help you shift faster. Swapping out gears will help your acceleration without adding hp, but you sacrifice some in top speed and gas mileage.
