Does anyone know if dealer's have already begun waiting lists for this car??? I know it isn't scheduled for release to the public for two years, but I can imagine a long line of GT500 buyers.

 

I put my name on my dealer list last week before we really knew for sure that the was going to be a GT500. I am really glad I did. I have a feeling after everyone sees the car Wed. 3-23 the list is going to get long in a hurry! I am number one on the list!

 

Dealers right now have no idea what they are getting in April, I dont know if I would bother for a car 2 years out

 

I though Everyone that got the power lease on the last cobra had first dibs on this one. Is that not true Kev?

I'm curious to know this, too. Is Ford trying to re-nig the deal? Ford/SVT did state that anyone who took them up on the '04 Power Lease got 1st dibs on the new '07 Cobra when it was released.

Is this the car, the Shelby GT500, that Ford/SVT was referring too? Or is this an SE car, and not the SVT Cobra referred to in the "details of the agreement"?

 

I went to my dealer last night and showed them the Motor Trend cover of the GT500 and ask him to start a list..... I'm #1 and my brother is #2

 

He is a SVT dealer, right? They're the only ones that can sell a Cobra, in the past and in the future.
