How about a normal Cobra that starts at 32K and a Shelby Cobra with all the goodies and all that tops out at $45K?

The Shelby Cobra should be able to handle a ZO6 Vette and a Viper?

I have a feeling this will be like the R model and the real cobra is coming out in 07

i say hardtop retractable convertible 428 cj gtr tailights dual hood scoops like on the concept or vents and something big to differentiate it from the gt

I guess if I had to make a wish it would be SMG. I actually wouldn't mind if they dropped the T56 in favor of a good 5-speed gearbox, or at least found a better 6-speed. And 500 hp would be nice, but I'll take "anything" as long as they're using a twin screw blower to get it . Any deficiency can then be easily corrected .

Once SVT upgrades it never retreats. IMO the current 6-spd tranny is the best ever on a Cobra, or on any Mustang for that matter.

SMG would be one, nothing like <100 msec., perfectly throttle-matched WOT shifts.

DFI (direct fuel injection (into the cylinders)) would be another. Greater power, emission and efficiency. Audi is able to run something like a 12.5:1 compression ratio with their new A6 V6 which is only 3.2 liters but has something like 255 hp and 243 trq.

IRS would be nice too, of course, for a car that dances as well as it sprints.

HID for those who like to drive at night.

I think 12:1 would be too high for a S/C

Actually a cool option would be a removable targa top or t-tops, whichever, but i would prefer a targa top, man that would look soooo sweeeet.

The modular v10 that they made awile ago. (Now just imagine what would happen if one was to add twon turbos to that setup)
