Decent article, I don't believe there is any new information.

Couple-o-tidbits:
Ford is still sticking to the 450-500HP and not getting any more specific. But a source says it will likely be 480HP

Price is somewhere between $36,000 - $40,000.

We'vve got a while to wait for the car. When it arrives I'm sure it will be great. I'm waiting for a Bullitt.

Hmm, per the article the engine weighs 175 lb more than the 4.6L GT engine.

That's about 635 lb, which is about the same weight as a Boss 429.

No matter how you cut it, the GT-500 will be one heavy (and nose heavy) car.

On the bright side, however, some of the best cornering cars are even more nose heavy than the GT500.

I'm interested in that list of "Best conering" cars that have a worse than 57 - 43% F - R weight balance too.

How about the Mistubishi Evolution? I would be really happy if the GT500 could corner so well. And the Evo is 60/40. How about the Subaru WRX STi? 58/42 (though I've seen it spec'd as 59/41 as well). Arguably nose heavy, and yet they both corner on rails.

If you're really concerned about weight distribution ... get a Ford Expedition . (50/50).

I am just so happy that Tony Swan wrote the article!! If that nerd Christopher Jensen wrote it, God knows what wold have been said, probably the first thing would have been something about "the car has no rear or side curtain airbags..."
If anyone else has read his "work" you would understand!
