Looks like they tried waaaaay too hard to make it Saleen, overdone in my opinion. The seats are nice though :P

I've said it once and I'll say again, this design does not take well to these add-ons. The design is clean and simple on purpose. These afermarket ideas work on some cars that fit a certain mold, which the "new edge" designed 00-04 cars were. They had edgy corners, cut lines and a mix of angles all over their designs. This new design is clean of all that stuff and looks better for it. I do not like any of these aftermarket cars.

I agree Hammy.

The ’05 seems to share (at least in my opinion) much with the 87-93 Notchback (or Sedan) Mustangs. That is the Notchbacks look best with just a cowl hood, and some nice wheels/tires as opposed to full body kits.

That being said, sometimes pictures don’t provide full spectrum to a vehicle and seeing one in person can change ones mind.

Bring back the extra light bar in the rear and this thing is money. I think it's the best looking tuner car yet.

Someone needs to get some full blown body shots of this car, I want to see the entire front end to get a better idea!

I don't like the spoiler. I like the guages on the dash and the seats. Not sure I like the fact the removed a pair of taillights (there are only 2 on each side now instead of 3)

Hate the grille... the headlights are unique but a little wierd... overall i like it... but there are some kinks that need to be worked out.

Roush and Saleen's designs have NO direction whatsoever, are haphazard, and sloppily done. Trash. NO better the APC ricer kits for hondas. Why stick a bunch of plastic poo on a perfectly done car? It ads nothing for performance, and modifying the grill does more to hamper performance then help. I'd bet the bone stock car cuts the air better at speed, and the silly kits ad no addtional downforce. stupid.

they removed one of the three tailbars! jesus...it should be a written law that you cannot remove the three vertical bars! anyone can slap on some body kit but i havent seen one from any aftermarket company that is conservative. This car is RETRO stop trying to make it modern! This car would benefit from subtle changes to what is already there...TAKE CUES FROM THE EARLY MUSTANGS...there is plenty there... all this car needs to be sweet is a hood like the GT-R and some rear quarter window scoops! boom done.

Ducktail, quarter louvers PROPERLY DONE-cripes HOW HARD IS IT, a simple chin spoiler, and some sort of tail light panel detail is all the car needs. the rest is silly. The hoods are the worst, none come close to stock.

Car looks like it is smiling yet frowning at the same time... hmm, seems familiar.

Aside from the ulgy grill and the gfx that look identical to the one's on my '91 Z28, I don't think it's that bad. I still think a regular GT looks much better though...

I kind of have to agree with CUON on this, the modernization of the somewhat retro style just doesn't sit well with me. I don't really know what it is about these aftermarket Stangs, there is a bunch of junk added, but it still seems like something is lacking, or something just isn't right.

Oh well, maybe I am just too old school for my own good.....

I agree I think Roush and Saleen really missed on their designs. They tried to take a classic look and make it look futuristic, it just doesn't work. The best designs that I have seen so far were the photoshops about a month or two ago label shelby gt350 or gt500, where they added the ductail and the agressive hood treatment. I hope someone comes out with that bodykit.
