Well, well, well. It's about time they'd come up with a more conservative design. Saleen has finally gotten that ricer label off their backs. Now they'll probably sell a few other than in California. The diehard Saleen fans can now switch to Roush.
Not my cup of tea. Better than some of others I've seen. But they seem to go large expense for not much improvements. Like the tail -- not bad, not great -- just different. But if I'm paying for it, it has to be better. Of course, I'd like to see more pics and the specs.
The hood looks very promising.
I will wait to see the entire front bumper, but so far, it isn't as good as I was hoping.
Side skirts are the best by far so far -- they just overdid the front portion a little.
Not liking the rear at all. It is too long as it is--why extend it? 2 tailights=bad, C5 looking lower bumper = terrible
Overall = best so far, but a lot to be desired.

I also think they should have changed the steering wheel and gauges and maybe try something else with the aluminum dash panel, maybe something with some pattern or more industrial/mechanical look. Some sort of CNC done to the dash would have been cool, make it very crisp and solid forms.
I like it, but I prefer the three element tail lights also. I like the black panel between the tail lights. The seats are sweet. The hood looks raised and vented. I don't care for the way the front turn signals were put it. The rear spoiler doesn't fit quite right. Overall I like it, but it is not as sculpted as the 99-04.
The GTR was built by Saleen Special Vehicles in Troy Michigan... They would not be able to take too much from that car because it was a ford idea. Check out wwww.saleenclub.net later tonight for complete info on the 2005 Saleen along with complete pictures.
very, very S7, hey maybe it comes with that razor
would like to see it w/o that second wing on it, though the rounded lip trunk looked promising.....CAN ANYONE PRODUCE A TOUGH, CLEAN DUCKTAIL??? If someone does, it will sell thru the roof!

I need to see more pics of the front. The hood and front bumper look promising. Otherwise, I don't like the rear end or the side skirts and they need put some other type of spoiler on the rear. Right now if just looks like somebody left a square piece of fiberglass sitting on top of the trunk.
I gotta admit though, it is much better than the Roush. IMHO

Looks promising, I want to see more though. Anybody notice the missing fog lights, I knew those things had to go. Not liking the rear wing on there, I was expecting something like the s281 wing. Still undecided.

And Steeda, just seems to have taken their designs from the 99-04s (which were nice cars) and slapped them on the 05 and once again it doesn't flow right.
However, I have to see more pics from the Saleen's front. The hood and bumper look like they can work.
Overall, it seems like this new 05 design has thrown off the major aftermarket tuners.
Put a kidney grill on it, and the front end looks almost the exact same as my M3 (E36). I don't exactly dislike that, mind you, but it loses too much of the mustang I think. (Hard to say since that pic only has half showing).
