Wow...... nice that you have a thread like this. I'll post a few samples.

A little background...... I designed T-Shirts for many years as well as Logo designs.

I'll have to get back into doing cars again I see.

#1; Wings Over Paradise. This is a rough marker drawing of the design I did for a Bi-plane touring company in Hawaii.

#2; Wolf Eyes; As with the Hawk in the 1st post, this is another in a series of drawings I did for an endangered species exibit.

Last ones........

#1; Buzzard Lagoon is a mountain bike race through the redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains

#2; Deer Park Tavern was one of the best restaurants in the Santa Cruz area, where I was head waiter for 11 years

#3; Victorian; This is in the town of Los Gatos and was used as the restaurants menu cover.

This is fun......... I haven't looked at most of these in years.

Thank you very much. I'll have to produce some new auto drawings. I have no idea where my old ones are from school.....it's been many years but I'm getting in the mood to dive into it again. I have an art studio behind the house

Welcome to our little corner of the art world.

Very impressive design work.
Are you still an old school style pen and marker artist, or have you crossed over to the digital side?

Can't wait for you to start crankin' out some auto designs.

Thanks. I got my degree in graphic design when the Beatles were still big.

I prefer the old drawing pad and a set of ripideographs. I dabble in the computer......I'll download some designs and post them later..... and I just bought a new air brush, which is a media I haven't done in over 20 years.

I've got some ideas for car designs and in particular a "Mustang Source" theme.

"Are you still an old school style pen and marker artist, or have you crossed over to the digital side?"

Creating fonts is so much easier in the computer than it was by hand.

That's what first moved me over to the digital side--My hand lettering of toons was
never that good, so I got M/S PhotoDraw back in 1999 to add the lettering to my handdrawn stuff.

Then there were some of the people on this site that corrupted me even more, , and now I
redraw all of my pencil drafts in a vector program.

Know what you mean. All the examples I posted were done years before I got a computer. 90% of the lettering was hand drawn and was the biggest challange, but something I always enjoyed. Letter forms can be very artistic.
