Good rule of thumb: trust a dyno, everything else is either opinion or speculation

 

a 05 toyota tacoma runs 1/4 mile, 15.7 sec @ 86.1 mph
so i hope you are smoking them all day long, as i understand the 6's are running low 15 to high 14 stock right?

 

Never seen a v6 run into the 14's stock yet. The only other one ive seen in the low 15s at a track was someone posted a timeslip for their automatic that ran a 15.2 which i find hard to believe, unless he cut an incredible 60ft time. With the tuner, sure i can see 15.2 possible, but most autos are runnin 15.6-15.8 at the tracks. (my best is 15.26)

 

My school is having student drags next month. But I can't go :bang: :bang:
Alot of my friends are taking their POS cars & trucks, so even with my 6, I'd be in good shape.
I'll be sure to make it to the next one though. Hey maybe I can get some mods in by that time :scratch:

 

i thought people were saying their 05 v6's were smoking 87-93 fox 5.0's, my stock 91 gt ran 14.6 at sacramento, i guess the ones that were saying they are smoking 5.0's are bsing

 

 

 

I have Raced my friend's 2005 Tachoma and I beat him very badly it got messy when I got up to 115mph he was at 91

I also raced a dodge ram w/ a hemi and it didnt last long enough to tell but he didnt leave me or anything

 

A Ford Ranger (couldn't tell the year) pulled up to a light next to me and started revving hard and jerking around. Didn't race him though, just let him fly off.
