Installing MRT Exhaust Tips
Got my MRT chrome tips yesterday and man are they sweet looking.
I need to cut the stock GT tips [they're too long] before installing and was wondering if anyone has done this mod yet? If so, what's the best approach to cutting the stock tips? Any help is greatly appreciated...

I just installed mine today. You have three options as far as cutting the tips:
1) Bandsaw or cutoff saw. if you have one use this first. It may require a little cleanup with a file or small drum sander.
2) Drill motor with a cutoff wheel and arbor. Keep in mind, a drill is too slow for a cutoff wheel but it will work. It will require some finish work with a grinder.
3) Cutoff wheel on a die grinder or 4" grinder. Will still require some finish work.
To mark your cut and duplicate the factory cut, wrap a folded piece of priner paper around the factory cut. Mark the inside and cut the mark. Slide it back to your desird length and trace a line on the pipe. Grind it flat. If you don't do metal work, pay someone to cut it back.
I cut mine back 1" and it looks perfect.
