Sunday afternoon, went out to see if any leaks had come on cause thats my luck and I feel the bottom of the charger like you guys do your lady's breasts or buttox. I feel synthetic at my finger tips!! I thought "this is just great [
]" Just like tony the tiger would say. So I check the oil in the charger and it reads a little bit above min. So I end up adding like a whole other 6 ounces to it and its still reading the same!!! Today I call procharger and tell them that the drain plug ain't getting any tighter and that I feel most of it coming out of the bolt above the drain plug. Ironically the dipstick is too short ( which explains why it read about the same after I added 6 more ounces. So he ends up giving me a number to write on the box when I ship the procharger back to them. Plus they are on back order for like a month. My car has to sit for a freaking month. Im not paying anymore money for this ****, they were telling me I can just hook up the filter but it would still haft to be dyno'd to run right. It has 42 injectors.
Real Crappy, I really don't know what to say, almost don't know what to do anymore. Im seriously thinking about buying a little s-10, Ford ranger, Dodge Dakota or something to drive around while this car is in the shop!![:@] ( plus I might beable to make more money at work too) But This car has been a lot of burdden for me. I mean it hasn't been that bad but I can't even enjoy it for a few weeks straight cause its eather at Ford getting something fixed or for the remended check ups or I can't keep from modding it and its at the speed shop. Then when I get it all said and done, the friggin tranny starts to leak from ford **** work. Then the friggin procharger go's!!!! Guys I really feel like kaka. I feel like, like I don't even know! It could be a lot worse though. I could not have a job. or I could not have a 2005 v6 stang to begin with but it still erks me cause I work to hard for this little bit of fun and a lot of stress.
Im not impressed with procharger though. Especially after I see how much of a pain it is to change the oil. You need a crowwrech and bet you still will have a hard time, or you need to release the belt tension and take the stupid !WEIGHT! plate off just to change the kaka. (yes I do mean weight plate, I looked at my car today and it looks like the front sits lower like I dropped a V8!! its from all the supercharger weight! and plumming and intercooler-, need to lower the back end just to make it even LOL) Im not even going to lie, I wish I had gone Vortech or Turbo, have ford change my car oil, add an extra quart and be done LOL. Not that those won't have there problems too but man I can see why the self cooled option is kinda crudy. The dipstick thing is kinda unprofessinal too ( how ever the hell you spell it)
Well had to vent and Im still not happy or feeling better, I need to go shoot my pistol and plug some stuff LOL. Time for some good ol bong tokes to the head for this one boys, its gunna be a long month. Any suggestions on advice and less stress would be good. Im trying to get signed up for school during all this but I can't do it!! To much for me right now. Sucks

That sucks man, I am at a loss for words. Just don't give up on the stang dude. It will work out. I've made my share of mistakes with this car. Ship the PC back, and get a different unit. Xcharger is easy to install. Vortech has great customer service and quality. I think PH is shipping units soon.

They will probably send you a new D1SC like FlapJack.. Maybe.. I would call them and tell them your friend had the same kit with the same problem, and they upgraded the blower to the D1SC.. This way you can make more boost with less engine RPM.. Also using a larger pulley, which allows the blower to run slower thus cooler and make more efficient power..
I aint gonna lie.. I have not had 1 problem with the Vortech.. If I ever did I know they would take care of me..

Thats a good point man!!! You're right, he might get a D1SC out of the deal.
I wish you luck, though if your income is disposable enough to accomodate the considerable expense of supercharging, and resulting installation, tuning, and inevitable repair costs, I wonder why you didn't get a GT? Was it a unique-ness thing?
Man you know we gotta hate that question. LOL Dude I make $16,000 a year for one. LOL So I couldn't even afford/get approved for a $20,000 loan let alone a $30 -35000 one at the time in 2005 LOL. Hell I couldn't even afford the V6, Ford would have put me in a focus LOL I was going to just get an old 88 camaro with a V8 but I looked at these and saw that they have the same power as an old V8! plus I would haft to keep fixing stuff just to keep it running. LOL So I got a $15,000 loan cause thats all I could get.(my first loan) I have credit but nothing off the meter though just a few credit cards. I took the $5000 that I was going to spend on the camaro and added with the loan and found one from a private seller for $18,000. My uncle picked it up cause he is a lisenced dealer (which is what my loan required) and he gave it to me for $19,600 with tags and taxes. Deicided to go with some payments instead of some problems.
Oh and I have a DUI from when I was 19 and I just turned 24. So I pay probobly what YOU would be quoted for a V8! LOL I pay 202 a month for insurence on a V6 and that just dropped $100 a month!! cause of good driving for 3 years. Used to be $300 a month Thank god!! LOL
If ya want to get technicall about it I spent about meybe $2200 23ish on mods NOT including the blower. Suspension,gears,tlok,exhaust,CAI,tuner,dyno tune,shifter. That would put me at around $22,000. I used a credit car for the blower, $6000 I don't have that kinda cash laying around. If I did I would prolly be approved for a GT LOL. so that would put me at $28,000. Now in 2005 I don't think you would get a 05GT for $28,000. Technically not counting the blower casue you cant buy a car with a credit card LOL You or me at least could not get a dealer to give me a 05GT in the year 2005 for $23,000 24ish LOL now way. Then it gos back to the insurence even if they did approve me I couldn't afford it with a dui....and gas!!

Ah worry not, there are def. more than enough badass V6s running around to earn my respect. And for the record, your car is cooler broken than mine ever will be (Focus...)

I wouldn't quit say she's broken cause of a leak but....Yea I hope everyting works out for me too. Sure it will. Your bound to have a few problems though doing this stuff to your car.LOL I have noticed that my procharger is not really leaking too much any more..??? Weird, wonder if its a break in thing.
Well I just hit the 500 mile oil change. I changed it and it seems to be fine. I really don't have leak anymore. As weird as it sounds its not leaking anymore( Knock on wood for me) LOL. IM wondering if it was a breaking in thing cause I drive my car for a good 30 min get on it once or twice and then I go home and rubb underneath and its dry as the desert??? Used to feel lubbed up down there after a good drive and now its all dry ( not leaking I soppose/hope) LOL
IM confused so Im just gunna play it out. Its not leaking now so im gunna enjoy it. Im gunna keep a close eye on it though and if anything does happen im going to talk to James, tell him I was refered from a guy from the internet.

Well I was not planning on going till end of summer honestly but how many of you are going up there? Meybe I'll try a run or two... in this heat but im not expecting much over NA with out tires. Meybe I can get a 14.9 this time eh...LOL
