Looking for recommendations with reasoning. I have a 2008 V6 auto vert stock. I am thinking of doing new low restriction cats and cat back exhaust, cold air intake, and SCT tune. My reason for this is 1) better performance (even if slight) without going to premium gas and 2) better sound. My questions are - is SCTx4 a better tuner than BAMA? H pipe or X pipes? Any specific brand? Would just a change of mufflers be just as cost effective as a new system? If so, what brand? I have a limited amount of dollars to spend but still want the best bang for the buck I can get. As long as you just don't dis me for the idea, or tell me to get a GT Shelby, any suggestions or recommendations are GREATLY appreciated. If ya think the idea/concept is dumb please be kind but let me know why. Thanks for any response.
