My Stang got the shaft!

I put in the Powerhouse aluminum driveshaft today. I know a few others have it too. It is MUCH lighter than the stock shaft and it's one piece. Less weight is good. I put in Doug's race tune and took it up to 105 and it was smooth all the way, no vibration. I need to get it out where I can really open it up and run top speed. But so far so good. It probably doesn't add much if any HP but it is a better piece than the stock one and it gives me some peace of mind that I have the strength under there to handle more power when I do add it. Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone that might find the info helpful.

I'm planning on buying one for my GT/CS. Less rotating weight will free up horsepower for the rear wheels

Give me a chance Vista! Just kidding. Really though, I've only had it in for two days and yesterday I was at work all day and today I was in a meeting all day so I haven't had a chance to really drive it yet. Hopefully Saturday on the way to the meet in Vernon Hills if it doesn't rain. I hope to see you there and we can talk. I did meet with Traken & CMC at the Target here Wed. nite and driving home it seemed real nice. Maybe a little more responsive. It's really the weight reduction and having a one peice unit that I wanted. Traken's getting upset the we keep modding faster than him! LOL! But his new wheels are REALLY nice with the Screaming Yellow and black stripes.

I was hoping that would be a side benefit also but I'm not going to pay for another dyno run right now to find out. I figure it would probably only be a few HP gain at the most but I'm not knowledgable in this area.

Thanks for the write up Gary!!!! Mine is ordered and goes in on Sept. 9th. I'm hoping for some track time with it before the season ends.
