you should get shoulder harness strap in belts, maybe even a helmet in the rear seat just for looks. I can see it now - you are eating out somewhere and someone sees you waitng or walking outside with your helmet in hand and they ask "what kinda a bike? " - LOL you mean my Mustang LOL Not sure if that would keep it "sleeper looking" but willl have a great effect on anyone asking for a ride...
And yes I know the programming may end up being a crazy nightmare , but figured my Speed shop wants to try and see, they already spoke to SCT and if all else fails I can always drop in the Diablo at the end of the day. I've heard the 4.0 is a real PIA nightmare to configure even the smallest things - so it will definitly be a challenge - but then again they said a 4.0 could never handle 300 hp etc....

Kind of like when I took my car to the dealership for the TPS problem... the service writer looks at me and says "What's these big numbers for? (on the glass) And why do you have a helmet in the back seat?" He just smiled at me and gave me the big wink! LOL!

Here is a PM I just sent you, but it couldnt go through because the forum is still being maintainenced..
Hey I'm not sure if I replied in relation to the non-Aftercooled portion...
I think thats kool man!! The Snow Performance Water injection kit, is numbers we need.. I actually like the fact that you are willing to go out on a limb for the rest of the community.. Just make sure you get the 39lbs Cobra injectors and the fuel tank fuel pump upgrade and you will be all set.. Dude you got me excited for you.. Thanks for sticking to your guns and going with the Vortech... The Powerhouse Turbo is probably the next best thing.. But best believe Vortech is completely nuts when it comes to this stuff.. The guys in their shop live, eat, sleep, and smoke this supercharger stuff.. Also, Vortech is like one-on-one in terms of support... They completely nailed the tune on my car...
I just want to make you aware, between you and I, that the tune you will get on the Diablo will be the same that I have.. My car was first tuned with the Aftercooler.. Then they removed it to do the non-aftercooled kit numbers using the same tune, so dont you worry about the tune..
I almost forgot that your getting the tuner kit.. LOL!! Sorry about that.. So does this mean you have already ordered Snow's kit? Are does that come later..
I feel like I'm getting ready for a championship fight today.. I got my dyno which is going to happen, and I am anxious to see some solid proof from another source... I think the Vortech numbers are highly down played... Based on their numbers using the Mustang dyno, I should be somewhere around 366HP @ the Flywheel.. When you calculate that using this sites calculator, that places me @ 12.59 ET... Using a weight of 3700Lbs..!!!
I'll take it... So hopefully this is atleast the lowest number I see today..

Actually I had a change of plans and decided to skip the Snow and go with the Full Aftercooler Complete kit, instead of the tuner kit. Hopefully should have it at the shop within the next 2 weeks
Figured the Complete Vortech S/C was the best solution and was going to be the best for the 4.0 - especially after rereading your rationale for the aftercooler... I think the numbers on the Dyno are definitly going to impress EVERYONE and we need to get some more PIC's of that setup. Looks great how it's all tucked in there.
1/4 mile times are also going to be a serious wakeup
And I agree Vortech's customer service is excellent and they called me the day it was released for sale and have been there to answer any and all questions from the start. Wish they had a satellite office in NY that wouldn't have minded testing some new features on my stang though Maybe I'll just move to Cali
And please POST those numbers ASAP. Remember we are 3 hours ahead here in NY....lol

Right now I am waiting for the sun to rise.. Then I will install the Boost gauge.. After that I'm going down, for the fight of my life!! I expect to go 3 rounds with a DynoJet, with some high tensil strength chains.. Batteries are charged in my camera, and its ready for action...
I'm not sure how this fight will turn out, but I dont expect to lose!! If I have to, I'm going to break the chains, or a driveline.. But one thing is for sure, I will not settle for posting a dyno sheet with less than 300RWHP.. If I have to add a degree or 2 of timing then so be it..
I do want to use the stock kit tune though.. Thats really important.. I must show the dedication of Vortech somehow on the dyno graph.. Vortech deserves a couple of good pulls out of me, and I dont plan on letting them down..

Good luck , dont forget to take a couple og bags of ice so that u can take full advantage of that aftercooler. When i fill mine up at the track , it will still have ice in it after the 1/4 mile run , so u know it is working. Probably get 15-to 25 more horsepower with the ice in there depending on your timing tables for air charge temperatures.
Boost gauge is installed.. I took the car on the freeway and in 3rd gear I only hit 5psi @ 100MPH!! Talk about a rude awakening!! LOL!! I got 5 more psi left!! I love the boost gauge.. The airline was alittle short, so I temporarily placed it above the hood latch on the inside kick panel.. Right at the edge.. Looks pretty clean there.. I actually like it, because this is supposed to be a sleeper right?
Noone can see the boost gauge from outside the car...
What is truley scary is we now know that 5psi is 100MPH on the freeway @ half throttle in 3rd gear!!
Ok guys!! Let me throw some jeans on!! Wish me luck!! I'll be thinking about you all as I attempt to write history!!
Oh yeah!! You can tell all your friends you saw it here first on The Mustang Source!! The home of the Brave and Sick-Minded!!
Next time I post a message, it will have a pic of the dyno data, and also a few dyno pull videos!!

Exactly!!! I am uploading the videos off of my camera.. They may not be the best of quality, but I did my best guys!! I am anxious to post the runfiles...
Stand by for videos!!
Also, Ed said that if I owned an SCT he could bring up the A/f ratio from 10.9 and easily get me another 15 to 25RWHP and TQ... So looks like an SCT may be in my distant future, but not for quite awhile.. I'm happy right now, and very safe... He did say its safer for the motor to run rich @ 10.9.. So in that I take alot of comfort!
