i had a tranny replaced in september of 05 due to a torque converter "Coming apart"

now yesterday i put it in gear and NOTHING happened...then 20 seconds later it popped into drive

anyone have this problem?

i am less than 3000 miles from warranty going out

i am taking it in to get it looked at tomorow

Unfortunately when I took mine in last week it was on its best behaviour and continues to be except for third gear which is a bee-itch to get in and out of.
We too had a transmission replaced at 5,000 miles.

 

i was searching and saw that you had the tranny on your second replaced

yours is a manual right? mine is an auto (which was replaced at 7000 miles)

jeez

i follow your flow on the shaker from the yellow one and now the tranny from the tungsten

well i guess if you mix yellow and tungsten you would get a close MG color

 

My Ellie is an auto.
My husbands is a manual.

If its any consolation, my(third replacement) shaker is now perfect and I have had his car for a week with no problems. Except I stalled it 3 times and lost a ****ing contest last friday night with another mustang.
