HELP, Which direction to go?
I'm in the army and dont often have the option of playing around with the car or money as I may like so i want to iron things out before i mess with either, I've had it set in my head to get a X-charger when the opportunity arose, and that opportunity arrives next month
I know just enough about cars to get myself in trouble, and looking on here just made me more confused. My stang is a daily driver, no performance mods
so what do i get, what gives you the best bang for your buck? thanks in advance for any help

This will put you at 350RWHP.
This pic is intercooled. But you can start off with the non-intercooled kit, if price is an issue. You can upgrade it later to the intercooled option.
This kit your looking at is solid on the 4.0 to 450RWHP!

If you do a search for "4.0" and "X-Charger," you'll find more information. I don't think you'd be disappointed with the X-Charger at all. Many of us have them on our Mustangs and are quite happy, and our cars are quite "streetable."

You only need to upgrade the rear-end to a 7.5 T-LOK, and add 39lbs injectors and your gold. The stock clutch should be ok with street tires up to 9-10psi. But keep in mind that the SOHC 4.0 from the factory can make enough power to break everything behind the engine, if using drag radials or slicks. So you have to be reasonable.
As long as you don't attempt to run nitrous inside the motor with boost from the turbo, you will be ok for a long time.
You can however spray a 100shot of nitrous onto the surface of the intercooler, and that will increase HP and TQ a great deal.

Pound for pound the turbo will be faster, but the X makes great power down low and has been described as driving a car with a bigger motor. The looks of the X are awesome and you can save money by installing it yourself.
