Cold Air Intake

What cold air intake will give you the best bang for your buck? If There is one without a tuner that would be great I don't really want to spend 450 more bucks on a tuner.

Our Steeda CAI requires a tune and it will produce upto 16-20 RWHP ... but since you don't want a tune ... the next best option is the Airade CAI (no tune required)

Currently on sale and price to sell!

This kits is really great. Its easy to assemble, its give your engine a cool sound, and the performance is felt immediately. Like any filter if its dirty you wont feel the performance but cleaning it is super easy. I also got the econoaid spacer and with that I can make 32mpg plus high way. It really reduces pedal lag too. Just keep it clean and it will be good to you. I was also impressed that even though its plastic it has not melted in the arizona heat. I have had it 3 years now and Im still glad I got it.
Let me know if you would like me to help you place an order? I can also see if we can take a little bit more off the price ... email me at tim@steeda.com if you are indeed interested.

Best Regards,

TJ

If someone is not wiling to tune their car then don't bother getting a CAI. Total waste of money without a tune. You mind as well use the money to wipe your backside when pinching a load off because either way your flushing money down the toilet. No tune, don't buy any CAI.

It might not have been classy, but he's right. If it doesn't require a tune, then you're just wasting your money. Unless you just really think those filters are *that* pretty, I'd spend the money on something else. And I don't know where you got $450 from for a tuner, but they don't cost that much.

Had I not just gotten a good deal on a JLT intake, I'd have gotten the one from Steeda. If you're gonna pay full price for a CAI, you might as well get a good quality part.

I had a little exaggeration on the $450 and I'm sorry I didn't want a tuner. I just got my first car and don't know much about all this stuff so I got on here to learn some stuff...

tune is where the gains are. they are pretty easy and TJ can hook you up and guide you. don't let it worry you.

GEH4,

Email me at tim@steeda.com and let me know what you are looking to spend and what your goals are. We can create a package to meet your needs and what you are looking to gain/accomplish.

The CAI/w tune is going to set you back $600 plus since you will need an SCT tuning device to load the tune. It is a pretty easy process ... but we have to see what your actual budget/expectations are.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Best Regards,

TJ
