I was looking to buy a AFE CAI and came accross this. Looks like a good deal, most tuners alone are 400. Anyone have any experience with this type of tuner? I hear the SCT2 is a better one, but this price looks so good.

thats what I was thinking, I know the SCT2 is rated the best from the forums I have read, but the predator comes in a close second and for the price and 23hp.....I don't think I can go wrong.

Now...how to I slip 400 bucks by the wife. LOL.

Remember flashing is flashing no matter which one you use. I have done a bit of research on the Predator and you can tune similar paramaters that you can with the SCT2. Basing it off the essentials everything is there.

The two combos look great. Interesting that the AEM with tune produces more hp than the AFE.

Though, I think rpmoutlet inflates their hp gains a bit. For example... they say they AEM produced 14+ hp by itself. AEM's own website shows a dyno that produces 10 hp.

Also interesting that the AEM cai alone is 5$ less than the AFE filter, but when both are combined with the exact same tuner, it jumps to 40$ more. wonder why?
